1. Check the condition of water tank/radiator cap
When the owner finds a water leak, he should first observe whether the water tank cap has been closed tightly. If it is not closed tightly, he should timely close it to avoid more serious water leakage. In fact, it is also common in this situation. Many owners will add a certain amount of coolant to the vehicle when washing the car. However, when it is closed, it does not matter because it is not forced, especially for some novice drivers.
2. Check the water tank/radiator pipeline for water leakage
Pay attention to check the water inlet pipe and outlet pipe. If it is found that the water pipe is leaking after inspection, it can be stopped by tightening the water pipe clamp or adding the clamp, or it can be used to tie the water pipe at the leaking place for emergency, and replace the faulty water pipe in time.
3. Check the inside of the water tank/radiator
If the owner finds that the water tank cap is not tight or the water pipe is not the problem, he can inject gas into the water tank. At this time, the water in the water tank will seep out under pressure, so as to know the car water tank
Where the water leaks.
A. The water leakage of the water tank/radiator is a crack no more than 1mm or a hole no more than 2mm
You can choose to add strong plugging agent to the water tank, run the engine and start the large circulation for 5-1 minutes, and the leakage will stop at the leaking places in the cooling system, whether it is water or rubber pipes and pads. After the leakage is stopped, it is not necessary to release it, and it will not cause heat dissipation and blockage.
B. The cracks at the water leakage of the water tank/radiator are higher than the above standards.
At this time, welding is needed. Whether it is copper water tank or aluminum water tank, there is a way to weld, but only the cracks are not large.
C. If the water leakage of the water tank/radiator is too large, it is recommended to replace it with a new water tank.
